Here’s how Lacey’s blog post began. It’s “National Dear Diary Day” and Lacey starts her own diary. But, what should she write about?
With Halloween just a few weeks away, the holiday is definitely on her mind. Just then, Lacey receives an invitation to her very first Halloween party–and, she doesn’t know what to be. “I know,” Lacey excitedly exclaims, “I’ll ask my friends for ideas about what costume I should wear. And, I’ll write about their ideas in my diary!”
As a result, Lacy writes about her friend’s suggestions each day in her diary. She reflects on what it means to choose the perfect costume. In page after page, Lacey wonders what it would feel like to wear the costume. In conclusion, her diary entries are featured in her single blog post, “Dear Diary, What Costume Should I Choose for Halloween?”
